Hydrodistillation

Step 1: Fire heats the pot, boiling the water and submerged agarwood. This creates a steam & oil vapor mix which rises and enters the condenser.

Step 2: The hot vapor mix travels down the condenser's cooled tube, turning back into a liquid (oil and water mix), which exits from the bottom.

Step 3: The cooled liquid (oil + water) flows into the separator. The mix then settles, leaving pure oil on top and water below.

Steam Distillation

Step 1: The boiler creates fire, turning water into pure steam, which travels up the first pipe.
